                   Pepsi’s Travels on This Earth

 

Pepsi was born in Lowell. She had a brother Curtis  when she was born. 

Five more siblings followed, her brothers Brian and William, her sisters Tonita 

and Katrina, and a third brother Christopher. She was a lively and

 beautiful child. She started grade school at age 5. She was a cheerleader in Butler

 Junior High School. She took modeling classes from Barbison Modeling School

 in Boston, MA and graduated with a modeling degree at age 16. She also studied at

 Lowell Vocational Technical School and graduated in 1980 in Business

 Administration. She was a member of the LVT track team. She enrolled at the

 University of Lowell and took two years of full time courses toward a Bachelor of

 Science Degree. She was active in the black student Union. Hank, her husband to

 be, gave her family a ride home from a wake in 1986. When he was invited to in he met

 his beautiful wife to be, Pepsi. They moved to Alabama in 1988 and were married on

 July 21, 1989. Pepsi started working for MidSouth Electric and then for Delphi

 Packard. Her job as an Ergonomics Representative took her on travels around the

 country and Mexico and she continued to have a love for traveling. She was struck

 with cancer and began a long and courageous struggle with the disease. She found

 strength in her devotion to church and faith.
