Curtis Remembering Pepsi |
|
I have a lot of memories about Pepsi, so many that they won't fit on this website. Here are just a few: One thing I will never forget is the good time Pepsi and I had last year in September when we went on a cruise together. We had a great time. Pepsi got to watch the show biz theatre. It was a musical with dancing. She laughed so much that it exhausted all her energy. But she just took all of it. Then we went shopping in the theatre mall. Pepsi bought all kinds of special items. She definitely bought her some jewelry. I just watched her having fun. Then we went to the casino. She loved the slot machines. She was winning money left and right. Every time she won, she gave me some of her money. Then when I'd lose it, she'd give me more. She would say play some more, Curt. Here, take some more money. And she'd warn me she was not giving me any more money. But she kept on giving it to me even after I told her I didn't want any more. I think she thought I was bad luck hanging around her at that the slot machines. I will always remember how she laughed, smiled and enjoyed her cruise with me even when I knew she was in pain. Some days she never complained even once about an ache because she had so much fun on that cruise. She loved doing things for me and everyone else and warned us not to mess up. Cussing me out for when I supposed doing something that I haven’t done yet. Growing up and always thinking she is the oldest of the family. And me always telling her I am the oldest. She always is yelling at me when I promised to do something She always getting on me for not buying things that we had run out of and her always purchasing them and reminding me to replace them. If I didn’t replace them quick enough she would make sure to get me to the store to purchase them. She always bought bulk. I never forget after Pepsi was gone my iron broke. I happened to search through my pantry for something else and came across a new iron that she must have bought just for me right after she told me she was not buying me an iron. I knew this was my sister doing just another special thing for me. We went to see the Lion King and we had a good time. After the show they sold Lion King souvenirs. I got one for Pepsi. And when I gave it to her being proud of myself she already had an even better one for me. That really touched me. It was a great evening with Pepsi. I remember when we used to go to the Lowell Boys Club and we won the King and Queen contest for the best dance. I never forget how she showed off and felt like the princess. We loved it. We went to a pajama party one night. And she loved it. We danced on the floor. I will never forget how happy she was on the dance floor. I miss the good times Pepsi and I had. I am just happy that I can share some of my special memories of Pepsi with every one. I miss you and love you so much, Pepsi! Curt |
