A Message to My Friend
Hi
Carla,
I
want you to know that I often sit and think about our friendship, and I
find myself being a little selfish because I want you to be here
physically even though I know that it is impossible.
It’s only because I miss my friend so very much and when I start
feeling selfish, as I sometimes do, I am always pulled back to my
spiritual reality and become
centered in my understanding of what it all means. I understand we must
leave some day and it was your turn to leave this place.
It was in Gods plan, and his plan for you was much bigger than this
place or the people in it.
I’ve
been blessed to have you in my life.
I am glad that we became close friends over the years. What gets me through the toughest times of missing you is
that we never parted by saying goodbye to each other.
At the end of each meeting or phone call we always said, I’ll see
you later, or I’ll talk to you later, but we never said goodbye. I also
remember that when we parted one of us would always say Love Yah Girl, and
the other would say I Love you too.
Carla,
I want you to know that I think you are the strongest spirit that I have
ever known. I watched you
take your walk over to the other side with such poise and grace that it
takes my breath away to think about it.
It was certainly a spiritual experience and a very important lesson
for me. I am so very proud of you. I
will continue to cherish my memories of you, and I will forever miss you.
